My partner and I had a two night stay at the Merrydale Guest House, a place we had not stayed before and thoroughly enjoyed are time there, our room was lovely and clean the full English breakfast was beautiful but what made it for us was the warmth and kindness of the owners Xia and Brian and their staff, nothing was to much trouble for them and they made us feel very welcome, we will certainly recommend the Merrydale to family and friends as well as returning ourselves, Thankyou

I needed ground floor room due to mobility Brian went out of his way to accomodate us. The room was perfect thd breakfast was excellent. Brian and Xi were great hosts and we will definetly we will be returning. See you both soon.

The hosts Brian and Xia were like friends I hadn't met yet. Lovely welcome, lovely hospitality, clean and well kept establishment. Wonderful breakfast and selection each morning which left me set up for the day. They made my stay a wonderful experience. As a motorcyclist I appreciated everything they did for me and securing my motorcycle to the front of the property with a ground anchor. They recommended local places for food and drinks, lent me an iron and ironing board so I could prepare my clothing for a wedding I was attending that weekend. I would recommend them to anyone visiting or passing through Llandudno or the surrounding area. I will definitely be visiting them again at some point in the future and will tell all my Biker friends and family of the positive experience with the Merrydale Guest House.

Great accommodation run by fabulous hosts.We turned up by motorcycle and were immediately told to park it right outside the front door and use the ground anchor if we wanted to. Location was perfect,lots of shops and cafes/restaurants nearby.Room was great,plenty of space,comfortable bed,good shower. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice,my wife is gluten and dairy free and the host,Brian,immediately rushed out to get oat milk for her,very appreciated.Couldnt have wished for a better place to stay with such considerate and helpful hosts.

We had a fabulous 4 day stay at Merrydale B&B, from start to finish. The hosts where so friendly, helpful and the breakfast very, very tasty. Room was very clean, bed so comfortable with Laundered Sheets so soft and clean. This B&B is situated well for main bars and restaurants not forgetting variety of shops. Thank you for a great stay, we will definately be back.

Had a lovely 2 night stay, hosts Brian and Xia were brilliant very friendly and helpful. Room was good with comfy bed and 2 armchairs and plenty of tea, coffee etc breakfast was really good choice and using fresh local produce . Situated close to beach, bars and restaurants all you would need.

Clean and tidy accommodation, generous tasty breakfasts and friendly hosts. Merrydale is close to the shops and the sea front. We would thoroughly recommend this guest house.

Like home from home, and the fried bread with breakfast just topped it off!

The owners at the Merrydale were warm and friendly,the room was clean, tidy and quiet. Breakfast was excellent and a good choice with plenty of tea and coffee. The owners were on hand whenever we needed anything and were very good at letting us know what there was to do it the local area. It was situated very close to the centre and we also managed to park close by. I would highly recommend as a place to stay.

Lovely room, the bathroom was spotlessly clean, and the quiet location was perfect for us. We appreciated the little details like the cushions and the chocolate and having a kettle in the room was really useful. We enjoyed the breakfasts very much. It was out 4th stay at the Merrydale Guest House Llandudno. We like to come back as we know what we can expect - clean place, high quality of service and smile from owners. For the owners nothing is a problem and they try to accommodate the needs. and the breakfast is a real treat.

Had a three night stay. Made very welcome on our arrival. Lovely room spotlessly clean. Breakfast was excellent. The hosts spent time to get to know you and offer advise on tour’s or restaurants to visit. Would definitely visit again

You made us feel very welcome. You're home is beautiful spotlessly clean. Rooms beds all comfortable. A pleasant friendly atmosphere especially at breakfast. We were spoilt for choice all food was delicious. We enjoyed the fresh fruit and yogart. Highly recommended. We're be back. My friend will bring her crash helmet.

Very comfortable and spotlessly clean, with a great breakfast. Brian and Xia are wonderful hosts, nothing is too much trouble for them. For example, I arrived on a hot day and was delighted that there was a fan in the room, but it stopped working and when I reported this, it was replaced immediately. If I stay in Llandudno again, I will not hesitate to go back there. I felt completely at home there.

From first making the booking on the phone Brian was really helpful. We arrived on a very windy evening and Brian took us to different rooms than he had allocated to us as he said the wind was howling more as it was higher up. The room was lovely and clean and warm. We got up for breakfast and it was faultless, nothing was too much trouble. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Merrydale Guest House.

Room was well presented, clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. Great variety at breakfast, they thoughtfully cater for a range of dietary needs. These lovely, welcoming, well travelled, interesting and helpful hosts, couldn't do enough for us, and spent time giving us the advice we were looking for on the local areas - thank you Xia and Brian for a lovely stay and for all the advice.

We really had a lovely weekend nothing was to much trouble the breakfast was superb the room was lovely and clean just one minor problem our bathroom was next door and there was no mirror in the room to dry my hair that was my only problem Petey I know but lovely hosts and we won’t hesitate to go back thanks for a lovely stay

A very Quirky, full of character hotel, if your looking for 5 * luxury forget about it, this is down to earth and honest, comfortable and a very friendly place, very clean, tidy place, hospitality is outstanding, Vegetarians are welcome lol and are more than happy to cater(just tell upon arrival) for you even though its wrong having a veggie breakfast lol, stair lift to the first door that does work and a ramped access in front of property for any mobility scooters with a charging socket.would highly recommend this B & B And close to the promenade,. Please bear in mind i have lived in 4/5* hotels through out my life and its nice to get back to your roots, and we both loved it.Both Brain and his wife Xia where charming.
